Serena's involvement in real estate extends far beyond the closing table as well. Also currently serving as a Director with The Atlanta Board of REALTORS, District 5 Alternate Federal Political Coordinator for the Georgia Association of REALTORS, as well as District 5 Alternate Trustee for the Georgia Association of REALTORS. Along with the responsibilities associated with these posts, she is also 2011 President of Women's Council of REALTORS-Atlanta, a 70 year old trade organization that empowers women to become leaders in the real estate community.
Government involvement isn't new to Serena either. For several years, she served as Chief of Staff for the Atlanta City Council, Post 1 At-Large. In this position, she supervised and provided strategic initiatives to fulfill the Councilmembers' directives and handled the management of office coverage for budgeting, media relations, personnel matters, community outreach, event planning, protocol decision making and constituent's services.
Today Serena serves the real estate community: brokers, agents, investment property owners, sellers and first time home buyers.
